Tested on:RPi3; Raspbian Stretch; Python3
Prerequisites:Raspberry Pi with Raspbian Jessie and internet connection (see steps 1-7 in the Introduction)
4.7k Ohm resistor

Update: DHT22 (AM2302) with PiGPIO for Raspbian Stretch

Since Raspbian Jessie was upgraded to Stretch, there are some problems with the Adafruit driver for the humidity and temperature sensor DHT22/AM2302. Luckily, the PiGPIO library supports the DHT22 for Raspbian Stretch.

See tutorial Adafruit driver for DHT22.

Execute the following steps in the terminal:

Measure data
Now, humidity and temperature are measured by entering
