Mock away the GPIO for fast software tests

Complex Raspberry Pi projects which employ automatic software tests can lead to software tests with a very long runtime. Instead of running these tests on a Raspberry Pi, they can be run on a stronger machine. For that, it’s necessary to mock away the GPIO interactions, since other machines do not provide a GPIO.
