Make: Action – Movement, Light, and Sound with Arduino and Raspberry Pi

Review
Make: Action by Simon Monk is a great introduction to making in general. Starting from the scratch, the book not only covers the Raspberry Pi, but also the Arduino and basic electronics. Besides being rather short and easy to read, the demo projects are quite complex and fun: you’ll learn to build a beverage cooler and a dancing puppet that can be controlled from Twitter.
While being not as much fun to read as the amazing Maker’s Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse, the book gives a very good foundation; i especially liked the profund introduction to motors.
