Invent your own Computer Games with Python

Invent your own computer games by Al Sweigart aims at programming newcomers and employs the entertaining topic of computer games for teaching Python fundamentals.
The book is focussed on game logic, not graphic design. The last chapter introduces graphical games,
but the other projects are terminal-based. Instead, the design of artificial opponents is explored;
especially the chapter about Reversegam is exciting, as different opponent strategies are applied and compared.

Everything is well-explained, but there is a learning curve. Alltogether, “Invent your own Computer Games”
is fine for getting kids hooked on programming, but might require some adult supervision.
